Daisy's summer cut!

Here are the before and after pics... she has lost all her fluff! This should make it easier to see her stomach grow fat. She should stay much cleaner and hopefully not have so many weeds/stickers in her fur when she comes in. Have I mentioned that Daisy loves being outside. She lounges in the grass and suns herself and investigates the yard for something to catch her interest. But usually she is wrestling with her brother jake in the dirt. Of course when it's raining she brings all the mud inside with her! We have had a lot of rain this week, so a lot of mud has been found on my kitchen floor. Hopefully she fall in love with the grass again soon.

Still no confirmation but I have a lazy dog!

Still can't confirm for a few more days that Daisy is pregnant.. but she has turned into one lazy dog! She had two successful ties with the Yorkie Dante (pictured below). Instead of running full throttle around the house she is stretched out on the couch snoozing most days.

I believe Jake has finally lost interest in her as well. He has been following her around like a love sick puppy for the last week. She is going in next week to get her summer cut. Good bye to all that fluff!

On a side note, I was at the quilted bear yesterday in Murray. Found this cute little booth that is all about dogs! I bought a cute little coral and brown puppy themed canvas bag. What a cute idea! She also had some Puppy kits that I am going to duplicate to send home with the puppies new owners. I always get creatively inspired at that store!

I think she's pregnant....

Well Daisy spent some time over at her boyfriends house yesterday.... and had a successful tie!! She is going back tomorrow for another date, but I'm almost positive that she's pregnant. She's been one lazy girl since she came home. I'll know for sure in a week. I can't wait to see the puppies.. the are going to be the cutest puppies ever!!!

Finally!

I was going to call the Vet today for an appointment for Daisy to see when her cycle is going to start. Then this afternoon I noticed blood on the kitchen floor, and thought oh no someone is injured! A few seconds later I thought... wait could it be?? Yup she has started her cycle. Which cancels out our afternoon trip to the dog park. There is a lady her in town that makes pants for little girls on their cycle, so I'm running over to buy a few. Somehow the denim shorts look doesn't look that cute on her in the spring. I have called to make a date with her boyfriend next weekend, and would expect the puppies to be here around the middle of July.

More pictures to come!!
