Hometown kid makes it big

I grew up in a small town called Richfield, population around 7000. One stop light, one McDonalds, etc. A kid named Tim Gates is from this town, he is in a band called due west. False Alarm .. No Heat cycle yet

Hmmm it's been 6 months since her last heat cycle, but still nothing. Hopefully it will arrive soon. I'm getting anxious to get some puppies here for summer :)

Dogs wanting to play outside

Here are some pics of the dogs watching the snow outside this winter. Don't they look sad? They don't obey well enough to play in the front yard too much. Funny dogs!

Daisy's heat cycle has arrived!

A few days late but none the less it is here. This is a picture of her boyfriend the prospective Dad. If all goes well we will have puppies by the end of June!! I'm so excited for this adventure to begin. Details to come :) I think they are going to be super cutie pups!

Daisy will be pregnant soon.....

Well Daisy and I have been out to see a few possible yorkie studs to breed with. Her heat cycle is around the corner so I need to narrow it down. Yesterday we went down to play with Ella and Eddie. Eddie and Daisy wrestled and ran and played for about eight hours straight. Ella would jump in to play every now and then but she just didn't have the energy to match her puppies! It will be interesting to see if the pregnancy slows Daisy down. She is such a bundle of energy, and I'm not sure how Jake is going to react with puppies in the house.

The snow has finally melted

The last couple of days it's been nice enough outside that we have ventured to the dog park to play. Daisy goes into heat in a few weeks so we need to get this time in now before she is banned from the park.

This morning as we were leaving her favorite friend Epony (3 lb yorkie) came running across the street to play. They were just small pups the last time they saw each other. After twenty minutes I decided it was time to put Jake out of his misery (he is too big to play with Epony) and we loaded up and went to the dog park.

Unfortunately no other dogs were there, I guess their people work during the day. So Jake and Daisy spent the next hour sniffing out every piece of poop and pee they could find. Huge pet peeve.. there are two stations with doggie bags... and still these lazy dog owners refuse to pick up after their 120 lb dogs!!

Daisy was so hyper today at one point she clipped to close in front of Jake and the both rolled down the paved walkway. Jake was ok but Daisy had a bit of road rash. It was time to go home. I was tired having got my twenty laps in around the park, so we called it a day.

On a good note it looks like I've found a really cute teddy bear yorkie to breed Daisy with. More updates to come :)

New Baby!!

My sister-in-law Tracy had a baby girl tonight 8 lbs 5 oz! She might be a stubborn one, no matter what they tried she was going to wait her sweet time before her big appearance! Pics to come. :)
